It's a perfect fit and works well. Easy to install, but honestly the little included insertion tool is the harder way to do it. Just press the bushing onto the shift lever nipple, then put the cable end on (two good squeezes and you're good). $25 is a lot for a tiny rubber bushing, but it's not like we have choices.

The shifter cable came off the trans and I was going to order a new one until I found Bushing Fix. It was so easy to install, I actually felt stupid that it was that easy---15 seconds-----

The website helped me figure out my problem and the part fixed it in a matter of minutes. Hardest part was wiggling under the car to see and then fix the problem. This little part saved me from $200 to $250 for a $76 new GM cable and the 2-2.5 hrs quoted for labor.

bushingfix.com is a godsend! my local dealer tells i can't buy the bushing without buying the cable. a bunch of so-called auto parts store says they either don't carry it or it will be shipped in within 7-10 business days or 4-6 weeks. and an online parts store can't deliver it to Hawaii. although the bushing fix's bushing kit is quite expensive (25.00 compared to 4.00-10.00), your very low shipping actually evens out with the competitors. what's even better, i ordered it on a Saturday, thinking it would arrive in a couple of weeks, it came the following Thursday! awesome job bushingfix.com! keep up the good work. your name and service is already being moved around through word of mouth
