As another reviewer wrote, don't waste your time with the retail auto parts dealers. O'Reilly sold me a part that was not even close to what it should have been. This cause me to twist the cable so much in order to press the bushing into place that the plastic cable section that connect to the bottom of the chassis snapped. I had to rig a thick nylon hose with hose clamps to prevent the cable from kinking when going from drive / reverse into park. AutoZone and RockAuto also had the same useless parts. The installation was somewhat tight and frustrating when I was crimping the bushing in place, but once on you knew it was not going off. It took about 15 minutes to install. Excellent part, somewhat costly at double the retail auto parts pricing, but the satisfaction of not having to change the cable kind of made up for it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing to change the shift cable bushing.

The bushing was perfect, the installation cup was useless, though. Just installed without the assisting cup.

Good product. I was able to fix myself while saving money for repairs. GM wants to sell you the whole cable assy.

I first bought a bushing from Autozone but it was obvious it was not the right part. Checked with transmission shops and GMC dealers and they told me I would have to replace the shifter cable and that I couldn't get the bushing only. Then I found Bushingfix.com. Got the part quickly. Install was quick and easy. Works great.
