REPAIRS CABLE STYLE:
Automatic transmission shifter cable bushing disintegrated on my 2006 Nissan Xterra. NO NEED to buy a whole new transmission cable, just buy the bushing and replace it yourself. I found a company that sells bushings for most makes and models. Check them out they're BushingFix.com, just click on the link below for the kit I used for my Xterra. Great customer service and if you can't find your model, email them and they can help you. http://www.bushingfix.com/ni1kit/
Lifetime replacement warranty against defects in material or production. This warranty does not cover improper installation. For replacement, we may require pictures of failed parts and/or descriptions of failure, and return of the failed parts.

All I needed was a bushing but the Nisan dealer does not offer it. I would have had to purchase an entire shifter cable. The bushing kit from Bushingfix was great. The little tool made installation easy.

Nissan won't sell bushing and wanted $50 for the whole cable just to get the cheap bushing. I live in Hawaii and got this in 3 days. This seems better than original. Took about 1 minute to fix - not counting removing and replacing interference. U tube videos helped.

Delivered promptly, and does what it's supposed to. Much cheaper and easier than replacing the entire shifter cable.

Very easy to install. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is installation tool was useless.

I had thought that I has broken the shift cable in my Nissan Frontier... so I looked up on YouTube how to fix it. One video talked about how the break is usually the bushing on the shifter end of the cable; not the cable itself and talked about Bushingfix.com. I went to my truck to look at the problem and the video was right.. it was the bushing! I ordered the bushing from Bushingfix.com, and BOOM!! 3 days later, the bushing arrived! Much faster than I had thought... The installation is easy... it took me about 2 minutes.. tops.. and I don't have much mechanical ability. Replacing the bushing was way less the cost of replacing the cable... my mechanic quoted me $250.00 to replace it.

This bushing was a perfect fit for my cable repair. If you need assistance, the video is a big help. Shipping was fast and quality of bushing is by far better than OEM. I'll definitely be ordering from bushingfix again if I ever need another bushing.
