Buick Rainier kit (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) allows you to quickly and easily repair your shift cable by replacing the bushing. The patented coupling and custom molded replacement bushing ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 2 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 5 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install.
The kit includes DIY instructions, custom molded bushing, and patented installation tools.

I tried 3 different auto parts stores and none were able to get me what I needed. Dealership wanted to sell me the shifter cable which I did not need. stumbled into a YouTube video which mentioned Bushingfix.com and I'm glad I did. 100% satisfied with this product. After buying the Dorman part and struggling for 2 hours and giving up, I purchased the Bushing Fix bushing. Installed with no problem. Would have been nice to have it available at a local store.

This type of product is not available in the general marketplace but should be. having to change the entire shift cable is expensive, difficult and time consuming. Feels and sounds like planned obsolescence by the auto makers. This part is guaranteed to need to be replaced making it almost inevitable that a mechanic or dealership will have to do it. Thanks for making this product available, a clean, simple and effective way to go.

Searched all of the local parts stores for a replacement bushing, everyone wanted to sell me the whole cable. I viewed your video on you tube and ordered the bushing from your web site. Great price; fast shipping and easy installation. The only problem I encountered was that some of the old bushing was still on the shift lever but after I removed it the assembly was a snap [pun intended].
