The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) coupling and custom molded replacement bushing ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 10 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 25 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install. Worked Perfectly
Mechanic wanted to charge me $400 to replace the whole shifter cable. Odered the bushing which was really easy to replace using the "How To" video. Saved a ton of money and could not be happier.

This bushing worked perfectly. I installed it with minimal tools and took less than 30 minutes.

my experience
although I ordered the part on Wednesday and it shipped on the same day ( and it said on the website that most metropolitan areas in Florida could expect delivery in 2 days and even though the part came from Lakeland and I live in Orlando ) I did not get delivery until the following Monday. Other than that, it worked like a charm, and I am very happy with the product.

Wish all fixes were this easy!
Mother in law calls and says that her car won't shift out of park, The lever moves but nothing happens. I'm thinking I will have to spend a couple of days under the dashboard trying to route a new $100 cable to the transmission. Went to ask the Google mechanic how to do this and ran across this. What a lifesaver! Got the part in 2 days and had it installed in 20 minutes. Took it for a spin and at the end of the driveway it wouldn't shift again. I evidently did not snap it onto the shift arm on the transmission hard enough. I snapped it on and now it is working like new. Shame on GM for making this out of a plastic they know would deteriorate in a few years.
