The patented coupling and custom molded replacement bushing ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 2 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 5 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that will outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install.

Ford Escape
Ford motor co. could learn a thing or two from Bushing fix.com. I was at the pharmacy drive up window and had to reposition my vehicle when it went into reverse and would not go into drive or park. Towed it to ford and while waiting over the next few days researched the problem. Everything pointed to the bushing on the shift cable. When ford called and said yes the bushing was gone and then quoted $700 plus to repair. My fuse went just like that. Picked up my car and paid for a diagnosis fee of $60. Ordered 2 Bushingfix.com bushings for $45 out the door, and when they arrived 45 minutes later my ford escape was up and running. I was told by ford up to 2014 bushings were replaceable. 2015 and later the entire had to be replaced. Thanks bushingfix for having such a great product. Total savings $600 plus

Easy install once the cable is accessed
2015 Ford Escape shifter cable bushing
Pro tip for non-mechanics doing this themselves on a 2015-ish Ford Escape, take the air filter box out (driver side of engine bay). This will give easy access to shifter cable to transmission. I had difficultly finding a video helpful to my model/year. -
