I installed this bushing-kit on a co-worker's Yukon just three days prior to this review. Thus far, it is holding up as I have yet to hear of any feedback from her be it positive or negative, so hopefully it holds up and stays that way. I only rated this kit a 4-Star rating because of the install components on this kit being unable to successfully press the bushing in to place as per the instructions and analyzing the install video provided by Acension Engineering:
Not only was I unable to seat the bushing with the install-tools provided, but the line-up needle on the installation-driver that goes through the bushing snapped off during the attempt. I was sure to exercise as much due caution and finesse to mitigate any binding. That might cause possible damage, all to no avail. I was able to successfully install the bushing using no more than my thumbs leveraging against the back of the retainer-cup to press it in to the shift cable orifice until the bushing-end was flush. After test-shifting multiple times and performing visual inspections, the bushing stayes in place. I will provide any updates should it fail other than the shortcomings of the installation-tools, thank you for creating a fairly economical and affordable alternative to GM screwing you in to purchasing an entire shift-cable assembly.
