The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) coupling and custom molded replacement bushing ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 10 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 25 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install. simple install, shifting is smooth and precise.... hope it lasts longer than OEM component.......hated the uneasy feeling of not knowing when and where the stock component would be failing....replacing both front and rear units to be sure of no surprises...

Great fix for a bad design
The bushing fix for a corvette shifter is a great fix for a poorly engineered shift cable. I replaced both ends with these and the front one popped off again. I originally ordered 3 of them, and have just ordered a spare set.

Glad I decided to purchase 2. Replaced the bushing on the shifter, which was quite easy, considering it is on a Corvette. Checked the one at the transmission, and it was crumbling too. Not as easy as the interior, but worth the time to avoid paying a dealer to tow and replace.
