The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) coupling and custom molded replacement bushing ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 10 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 25 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install. Simple installation, effective fix
Found this product on YouTube while researching a shifting issue on my C6 Corvette. The video was very helpful in diagnosing the issue. I had everything prepped for when the bushing arrived. Took about 5 minutes to install and the another 15 minutes to tighten everything else back up. Great product - great support.

Excellent product
I used the UP1KIT to repair a broken shifter bushing on my 2005 Corvette. The new bushing is an exact match to the original bushing. Once I removed the broken bushing from the end of the cable, I was able to install the new bushing within a few minutes. It took some effort to reconnect the shifter to the repaired cable due to lack of room within the tunnel area. I aligned the two and dropped the shifter onto the cable end and pushed down on the shifter to snap the two together. The shifter works as good as new. I would highly recommend this product.

Very Simple Solution to What I thought was Going to be Very Expensive
Because of this busing, I didn't need to purchase an entire shift cable and didn't need to pay anyone an hourly fee to install a new shift cable. Although it is very frustrating that such a small plastic bushing made my car "dead in the water", I was very happy to buy this little bushing and install it myself and save hundreds of dollars.

Easy ......... once you get to it.
The installation took all of about 60 sec to pop together once you got to it and removed what remained of the old bushing, getting to it is another story. My problem was the shifter side of a 2007 Corvette and I had this same exact issue on a 1999 Corvette and replaced the entire cable, take my word for it ............... you really don't want to do that. This is the way to go if the issue is just the bushing.
