The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) coupling and custom molded replacement bushing ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 10 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 25 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install. Pro: Simple. The part works. The video showing how to replace the existing bushing was the most helpful. Went in exactly as shown. Saved alot of dough compared to a $200 repair from a mechanic.
Con: Pricing is only $10 less than a whole new shift cable I found online. -

Was fotunate to find the web site to order just the part I needed, instead of over $100 for the whole cable assembly, plus the labor to put it in. Job only took about 10 mins. Had more time taking the air breather assembly aprt to get to the bushing. thanks.

i am so glad i found this product. None off the auto parts stores has this bushing .The dealer does along with the cable .$108. it only took about 10 min.to change.

It worked !
The dealer wanted $145 for the cable. I was thinking a junk yard, but saw this product on a Google search. I figured what to heck, worse thing I can loose is $30. The hole on the cable head was a little small for the bushing guide. Once I drilled out the hole, this bushing went in smooth It fixed my cable as said on the web site, If you have a dry rotted bushing, I would recommend this product. I run a shop and I will buy and use again.

OUTSTANDING!
Been using a rubberband to keep the cable on but when it would break, I would be up the creek without a paddle! This product FIXED the issue of the broken factory bushing and slipping off the shift controller on the transmission. VERY pleased with the product (inst. 6-12-14) but unpleased to see the price has been LOWERED by $10 from when I bought it just a week or 2 ago! Still an excellent value regardless, just would have been nice to have the extra 10 bucks in my pocket. Recommended product, took less than 30 minutes start to finish.
