The patented coupling and custom molded replacement bushing ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 2 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 5 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install.
The kit includes DIY instructions, custom molded bushing, and patented installation tools.

Replacing bushing on shift cable
Trouble getting the bushing into the red guide, but able to press by hand the bushing into the cable connections. Works well and saved several hundred dollars on the repair, which was an easy fix.

Bushing repair kit
Was thinking it was the wrong part because the pic showed it in black and it came in a different package and the piece was white. I called and talked to Carol. She was awesome. She explained that they changed the bushing and gave me great tips to get it to work. It was much harder to put it on compared to the black one, but she helped me a lot on how to get it to fit.
