Wish I had found this company years ago. Saved me hundreds of Dollars.

Highly recommend detaching the cable from the bottom of the vehicle for better access…there are 2 small metal clips that push outward and the rubber retaining boot slides outward - same direction. Then you can get a good handle on installing this bushing as it's the only available fix for Jeep JK, other than entire cable. The "OEM" Crown part #68064273AB will not stay attached and will fall off of this incredibly horrible Chrysler design. Expect these Bushingfix kits to last about 5+/- years, then expect to replace again. I'm on my second.

My shift linkage broke on my 2015 Ford Escape midway through an 11-hour drive. Spent the rest of the trip manually shifting my car under the hood into park and drive. Was so lucky to find this online since the shop quoted me something like $700 to fix the whole cable. Installed in less than an hour and it’s been a year since I replaced it— still works like a charm! I’m tempted to just buy a couple more for if/when the time comes to replace it again!

Got my bushing after the gear shift select wire mysteriously popped out of the knob to the transmission select lever. There was not even one sign of a bushing being there! I actually drove with masking and duct tape connecting the two until the bushing arrived.

Once it came, I put it in, got the wire connected to the lever with a little grease, and one-and-a-half months later, it shifts like an absolute dream. And because of the awesome tow-truck driver that was going to tow my car to the dealer, he saved me at least $500 in parts and labor costs by telling me to just replace the bushing instead of replacing the otherwise good wire.
