Easy to Replace
Oh well, it lasted a little over three years. This is my second purchase of the same product (first time was in July 2017) but it's still better than replacing the entire cable. Car has 226k miles so hopefully I won't need another bushing before I get rid of it.

Saturn Astra shift cable bushing repair kit
Failed GM cable bushing left me stranded. BushingFix kit was quick, cheap and easy to install. Looks like a high quality bushing. Using daily for 18 months without issue. Alternative is new shift cable which is expensive and difficult to install.

Transmission Linkage repair kit
So far so good, works as described, easy installation -although kind of hard to find an info about where it's located (right underneath the battery and battery-tray in Saturn Astra). Hope it outlasts the car...

It works!
The gear selector on my automatic 2008 Saturn Astra XE became very spongy and I was having issues selecting the correct gear. After a little research I found this website and thought the price was worth a try. What a pleasure when I went to install it that it was excatly what was needed. The original bushing was completly gone and this fixed it perfectly. Didn't need to change the entire cable.
Happy this product exists and was an easy and cost effective repair. -
Very Nice
Easy to Install. Works great!

Arrived quickly from USA, 100% fixed the problem.
$34.94 USD after shipping is like $46 CDN for a part that looks like it should cost about 70¢, but it was vastly cheaper than an entire shift cable.
Ultimately, I don’t feel ripped off, I’m grateful someone has created an aftermarket bushing where nothing was previously available.
$20 feels steep, but I have no idea how much R&D or process went into making this part. Maybe it’s better than the GM one that disintegrated?

Worked exactly as advertised.
I picked up the replacement bushing for my 2008 Saturn Astra after seeing references to it online. My shift lever was loose and it wouldn't shift into park. The most difficult part of the job was removing the battery tray to access the end of the shift cable. The ild bushing was entirely gone. The new bushing was a snap to install with the kit that came with it. A simple squeeze of the channel locks and it was inserted. I couldn't be happier. I'm hardly a mechanic and this job was as easy as advertised.

Great product at a reasonable price
I found this product online and thought I would purchase it and try it out in place of ordering a complete need shifter cable assembly. It works as described and was definitely easier and less expensive than replacing the entire cable assembly. I would recommend this product.

Great product!
Mechanic said I needed to replace my shifter cable, he was surprised when I told him I found a bushing to repair the cable and did it myself. And guess what? The bushing on my minivan broke the next week and I knew exactly what to do.
