Perfect fit!
Installation was super easy. I was able to install on my son's 2005 Corolla without removing the entire center console, though it was a tight squeeze. If you have large hands or limited dexterity, you'll probably want to remove it. The price is a bit excessive for such a small and simple part.

More then I expected
I had planned to go my car to the dealer or a local mechanic to fix the broken shifter cable. Taking the dash board apart was above my pay grade so I figured I had to bite the bullet and pay the $550 I was quoted. The dealer price was over $200 for the shifter part so I decided to call my local auto parts dealer to confirm the price. After explaining the problem, he told me the bushing was the problem most likely and the was a $10 part. Unfortunately he did not stock that part and referred me to the Bushing Fix. There I found the part for $25. I then went to You Tube and the first video I found was my car exactly and it took 8 minutes to open the dash, clear the old part, replace the new part and put the dash back together. I was amazed. So armed with that knowledge, I proceeded to take the dash apart and found the broken bushing in under 4 minutes. I ordered the part on the website and paid the extra charge for the fastest shipping as I figured I just saved $500. two days later, I received not one package but two packages with the part I needed. Only got billed for one.....so now I have a spare. Thus, more then I expected! Thanks
I was going to give a 4 Star rating as the installation instructions were poor and I had to try inserting the bushing several times to complete the job. That took 30 minutes to complete but very happy with the way the shifter feels now. Hopefully with your poor shipping quality control....you will still be here when I need you next time. -
