TB1KIT™ kit allows you to quickly and easily repair your shift cable by replacing the bushing. The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) coupling and custom molded replacement bushing ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 2 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 5 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install. Bushing Fix® TB1KIT™- Transmission Shift Cable Bushing Repair Kit ™; (US Patent # 10,215,273 and US Patent # 10,619,723).
The kit includes DIY instructions, custom molded bushing, and patented installation tools.

shift linkage
After checking around and not wanting to have to replace a shift cable that only needed a bushing I was able to find a kit for it. Thanks to bushingfix.com Very easy to install and it was a perfect fit.

easy install, save ton of money.
So easy anyone can do it. i have no mechanical knowledge what so ever, there was a lot of Youtube involved just to figure out what was wrong, and then i started pricing parts. and came across a video showing this...gave it a try. worked like a charm. fixed in under 2 mins.

life saver, literally
Poor design to have the weak nylon bushing right beside the hot transmission. When that white nylon bushing breaks, and it will somewhere out and away, you have two options; call the tow man, or put the emergency break on, crawl under the jeep and using your hand shift the jeep in drive. Hoping the E break holds!! Crawl back I out from under the jeep and drive home. Now that I have this bushing, I carry two in the console and when the bushing breaks, two minutes and you are back on the road with a new bushing. I am driving with one now and they are great and so easy to install. I have ordered 10 more so my guys carry one. Not only for automatics, but transfer cases for going into 4WD. I used to carry a complete cable replacement in the jeep. No more.
