Six months and still holding tight.

So nice (and worth the price) to not have to replace the whole dang shift cable because I broke the old cable connector end. Product instructions could be better by including how to prep the old cable end before new bushing installation, but I figured it out. Six months later, this new bushing is holding just fine on my 2000 Dakota. Thank you for a GREAT product!

I don't know why dodge can't supply a standard low cost replacement bushing.

Being from Canada, with the shipping and exchange rate, the cost was just over $50.00. At first this seemed to be a lot, but the dealer wanted to replace the cable, so parts and labor would be just over $300.00 . The hardest part was removing the old bushing. Installing the new bushing was quick and easy.

Easy and it works

Far better than re-stringing a new Cable into the steering column and firewall and less than half the cost. Repair took about 15 minutes, and its holding up without issue
