When my 2007 Rendezvous shifter broke I thought it would be a nightmare to get it fixed. Howeve when I found this site and instructional video it was all I needed to try it myself. Everything worked as advertised and the repair took 2 hours tops (1 hour to review video and take parts off and 1 hour to put it back together -2 days later when I received the part.) For under 40 (including next day shipping) I completed this repair no problem at all. The part was not available from any of the local auto shops - don't waste time trying to shop it around. The bushing came with a plastic cup and press and fit perfectly. Well worth the 35 dollars to get something that works first time as advertised - without any towing, labor, or price mark up I would have had otherwise. Highly recommended.

Amazing guys, thanks for the help. I couldn't find the bushing at any parts store - I couldn't even order it. The parts stores only sold the entire cable. I thought I was going to have to fabricate something on my own. You guys sold me the bushing, rushed it in shipping and gave me a play by play video on how to make the repair. Worked just as described easy and simple install.

Quick and easy install. I was hard to pay over $30 for a plastic piece the size of a dime, but when you realize that keeps you from buying a $60 shift cable and another hour of install time, it's probably worth it.

I am very tight with my money and can fix most anything. I considered fixing the deteriorated shifter bushing with drilling and outfitting with a nut and bolt type repair. When I thought about it, I said to myself I will regret doing this due to cramped spaces and of course my arthritis in my shoulders. I was extremely disappointed to have to pay over $30.00 (delivered). It did take a little time to get the part, and in the interim, I used good ole duck tape and it performed perfectly. The questions was for how long?? The part came, installed extremely easily and "snap", it works like a charm. The dealer only sold the complete cable housing and I am sure that BushingFix is well aware of how much mark-up they can get on this due to installation. I guess they have to recoup some of the tooling charges. Nice design and easy fix.

I was able to change the bushing with no issue and did not have to take my steering column apart. the fix took ten minutes instead of hours.

lost bushing in shift cable on 06 rendezvous, got bushing replacement kit ,it arrived and car was fixed in 15 minutes
i saved $50.00 in parts and 2 hours labor and didn't have to wait for gm to ship in the shift cable , a reat ptoduct

The part arrived in a timely manner. Further, it worked as described. $25 certainly beats replacing the whole cable which is all that the GM dealer sells.
